Motorola presented the new generation of the edge family which consists of three models, namely 50 ultra, 50 pro and 50 fusion. And also in this case it focuses on the combination of colors which, thanks to the partnership with Pantone, define the path that the Lenovo-owned brand has taken to differentiate itself from the competition. In short, the new Edge 50 are devices that are popular, at a time when the world of smartphones offers a lot of homologation. In this case the design is accompanied by an advanced camera system guided by artificial intelligence with the particularity of a certification made by Pantone which ensures the real color of the shots produced. Another feature is the use of materials such as real wood, a special edition pearl polymer finish handcrafted in Italy, and vegan suede. With brilliant shades and IP68 underwater protection. The new Motorola products include a complete photographic experience, from the simple activation of the camera through “moto gestures”, up to the latest generation hardware. Added to this, thanks to programmable functions, is the possibility of personalizing the device.
The edge 50 ultra model
Among the three models, the edge 50 ultra shows comfortable curves and, as mentioned, fine materials such as real wood and premium vegan, as well as the Pantone color of the year, Peach Fuzz. The thin sandblasted aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass ensure a high-level design. The display is a 6.67″ Super HD (1220p) pOLED which offers 13% more resolution than the previous generation. The range of high-resolution cameras allow detailed results in any lighting condition, both for photos and videos. With professional features such as:
- Adaptive Stabilization: Uses artificial intelligence to determine the speed of movement when shooting and dynamically adjust the level of stabilization for best results.
- Auto focus tracking: Delivers crisp, clear video by using artificial intelligence to keep your subject in focus even as it moves across the frame
- Motion Shots: Automatically increase and adjust shutter speed for different lighting conditions. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the camera improves details when light levels are low and noise is high.
- Long exposure: Allows you to obtain artistic light trails or smooth waterfalls. Long exposure allows users to capture creative movement with just one touch, without the need for professional equipment.
Users also have options to create custom device wallpapers with “moto ai,” while with Style Sync they can extend their personal style to the device by taking and uploading a photo of their outfit to generate more unique images. The 4500 mAh battery has 125W TurboPowerTM charging (50 wireless), capable of providing all-day power in just four minutes.
