The New York Times quotes the MP Tom Suozzi of New York. A Democrat, he managed to win in a hard-fought district after George Santos vacated the seat. Suozzi gave his diagnosis of where his party went wrong.
“Democrats need to focus more on the issues Americans care about, like wages and benefits, and less on being politically correct,” he wrote in a post on of resistance.”
This seems like the beginning of a careful analysis to me. Political correctness taken to the extreme, Wokism as a rancorous rewriting of history, the University in the hands of fanatical and wealthy proPalthe multiplication and pulverization of rights or claims, are the disease of the Western left. Which then desperately risks ending up in the hands of a Sanders or a Landini.
