The Crime of "Ecocide", the Latest Left-Wing Idea

Dear Director Feltri,
I have been asking myself a question for some time now to which I have no answer: why does the Hon. Angelo Bonelli have such a frequent presence on TV? Because of his cultural merits and qualifications acquired before entering politics? No! Because of the quantity of voters who express approval for his ideas? No! Why at the helm of a party that would be decisive for the future of the country? No! I ask this because from what pulpit does he allow himself to decide on the presence or not, on a broadcast, of a journalist like Director Feltri, whose curriculum is well known to listeners and whose presence, in a debate, certainly has a more than positive value compared to his own? “Better that (Feltri) goes away” said by the Hon. Bonelli was perhaps a slip, he wanted or should have said “I’m going away” but nowadays on TV anything happens!
Thanks for your attention and good work.

Dear Leopold,
Angelo Bonelli’s comment, which you reported, namely “it is better that Feltri goes away”, is symptomatic of the intolerance of the left, in this case even radical, towards democracy and its rules, such as the one that provides for the pluralism of voices and thoughts in the context of any debate. The self-styled democrats admit and accept only those who think like them or who are willing to start thinking like them, those who instead are bearers of different opinions and who are not willing to give up these opinions, in their opinion, are not worthy of being listened to and arouse uncontrollable skin reactions that betray the illiberal, squadrist and violent spirit of the progressives, who love to dress up as pacifists. It happened to Bonelli, evidently affected by the snobbery and sense of superiority typical of radical chic, it happened. It happened that he was unable to hold his tongue, therefore to manifest the fascist spirit inherent in those who proclaim themselves anti-fascists. I’ll tell you, I’m not surprised at all, so it goes without saying that I didn’t take it personally. I know what to expect from certain chickens by now.

Bonelli should resign himself. He cannot be the protagonist of talk shows, the only guest without cross-examination and without journalists whom he can hardly stand.

A television program, after all, is not a party meeting or even an aperitif among comrades, but an opportunity to reflect, through multiple points of view, on current issues that can and must be examined, commented on and analyzed even by those who do not kneel before the red ideology. If this does not suit him, it is better for Bonelli to go away. Let him move abroad, perhaps to communist North Korea, where he could certainly feel more at ease.
