The perfect parking lot done in the wrongest way possible: "I saw it in a dream"

A carom that could have had very serious consequences and which instead ended with a scene so unlikely that it went viral on social media. After being hit by another car at an intersection, a young driver lost control of her Ford Ka, went up the pavement and crashed into a car dealership. However, the race ended in the most incredible way: the car ended up perfectly in the free space between two exposed cars, without hitting them.

It happened on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 August in Bauru, a city in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The entire sequence was filmed by the security cameras in the area.

According to reconstructions in the local press, Ana Beatriz Ferreira Godoy, 25, was driving the car and was on the road with the right of way, while the other car apparently went through a stop sign. The impact caused the Ford Ka to completely lose its trajectory.

In the video, the car is seen crossing the sidewalk, passing dangerously close to a bus stop and heading towards the entrance of Sergipano Veículos, a car dealership. The car enters the dealership area practically sideways, hits a sign at the entrance and then straightens out.

At that point, what made the images go viral happens: the Ford Ka ends the race exactly between two cars parked in the lounge, as if the driver had performed the maneuver voluntarily.

“I can’t even park like that”

Ana Beatriz herself, once she got over her scare, joked about the result of the carom. “I can’t even parallel park, let alone park like that,” he told Brazilian TV Tem. The distance from the other cars was minimal. Welton Menezes dos Santos, manager of the resale and among the first to help the girl, said that the car stopped just “three fingers” from one of the cars on display. The Ford Ka instead reported damage to the axle, bumper and one of the rear lights.

The dream I had three months earlier

The story also has an even more unique detail. Ana Beatriz said that about three months before the accident she had dreamed of being behind the wheel of an out-of-control car without being able to brake.

When she was hit at the intersection, she said, that scene suddenly came back to her. That’s when he would forcefully reach for the brake pedal.

The bus driver passes out, panic and screams on board: two passengers take the wheel and avoid a massacre
