Some images of the plane crash in Peru, where 13 people died, including seven Italian tourists, were spread on social media by the Peruvian channel “Noticias de Piura”. In a video, the vehicle is seen losing pieces at high altitude before falling to the ground. The causes of the accident are still to be ascertained. It cannot be ruled out that the unfavorable weather conditions also had an impact.

The aircraft belonged to the local Peruvian airline Aerodiana and had taken off from Pisco airport to fly over the Nazca Lines. According to an initial reconstruction, a few minutes later he lost contact with the control tower, then fell and caught fire on impact with the ground. All 13 people on board – 11 tourists including 7 Italians and the two pilots – died.
