It is currently located in the latest beta version of the application issued for Android, namely the relative 2.25.21.14. It remains only to wait: it is likely that the novelty will be made available over the next few weeks.

But how does it work? The user only has to go to options associated with each individual message. Here it will find a new command, namely “Remind me” (“Remember me”). You can also choose how long we want the message to be remembered. It is possible in 2 hours, 8 hours and 24 hours. Among the various solutions there is also the possibility to choose a certain date, and a pre -established time. Once the reminder has been set, a small bell -shaped icon will appear near the chosen message. In this way it can be distinguished among the other messages of the chat.

When you arrive at the pre -established time (or date), it will be WhatsApp to attract the attention of the user, reporting it on the message, thanks to one notification. In case of video, gif or image, a preview will also be given.

It is also important to remember that the reminders will not be archived in any server, in compliance with the privacy user. Furthermore, the reminders are not shared with any other user, not even with those who participated in the chat in which the message highlighted is located.
