The robotic arm and the "multimop". The future of home cleaning by Dreame

Among the thousands of new features presented at Ces in Las Vegasthe most important tech fair in the world; the latest innovations brought by have attracted a lot of attention Dreamea global leader in home cleaning technology.

The news

This time too, the company has redefined the concept of home cleaning by presenting two cutting-edge concepts – the robotic arm Bionic Multi-Joint and the replacement dock Multi-Mop – in addition to two leading technologies, the system ProLeap and navigation VersaLiftwhich debuted with the presentation to the public of the new robot vacuum cleaners in the series X50. Tools that can be defined as absolutely revolutionary that combine intelligence, efficiency and convenience for the user.

To tell you what it’s about, Sean ChenManaging Director of Dreame West Europe:“Dreame is committed to providing users with solutions that make cleaning your home truly easy. The innovations presented at CES 2025 reflect our vision of creating smarter, more efficient technologies that not only make everyday life easier, but also set new standards in the industry. By tackling real-world challenges through cutting-edge AI and robotics, we are transforming home care into an even more enjoyable experience for our users”.

The ProLeap system and VersaLift navigation

Right at Ces Dreame announced the latest addition to the X series, its premium flagship. X50 series products debuted with the system ProLeap and the navigation system VersaLiftin addition to the much appreciated extendable mop and side brushes, to tackle all cleaning challenges by effortlessly overcoming obstacles in complex domestic environments and reaching the lowest spaces. Together, these features offer a complete solution for cleaning the whole house with unbeatable precision and efficiency.

The ProLeap system, presented for the first time at IFA 2024, has finally arrived on the market. This is a technology that equips the robot with two retractable robotic legs, which raise the frame of the vacuum cleaner, allowing it to easily overcome high obstacles such as thresholds and small steps. This system allows the robot to seamlessly enter different spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens and balconies, ensuring a seamless experience complete cleaning and without interruptions. Two peculiar characteristics:

Passes double layer thresholds up to 6 cm, ensuring the cleanliness of every space.

Built for long term useup to 30,000 cycles, guaranteeing users constant performance over time.

VersaLift Navigation

This revolutionary system features the first sensor DToF adjustable in the industry, it takes cleaning, “literally” to new heights. The turret on the back of the robot raises for 360-degree scanning and lowers to an innovative height of just 8.9 cm to clean even under the lowest furniture.

• Thanks to the sensor LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) low profile, the X50 Ultra Complete can access narrow spaces that other vacuum cleaners struggle to reach, ensuring deep cleaning under low furniture.

• Combine perception 3D, RGB images, laser two-line and an AI camera with LED lighting for precise navigation and obstacle avoidance.

Precision cleaning with the Bionic Multi-Joint robotic arm

Building on the technology of the revolutionary arm Dual Flex for the most difficult to reach corners and on navigation VersaLift for ultra-low spaces, Dreame has gone a step further with the Bionic Multi-Joint robotic arm. This technology presented for the first time at Ces. it was designed to tackle the toughest cleanings with precision, flexibility and strength. Featuring advanced AI recognition and human-like joint design, this robotic arm effortlessly clears clutter, navigates tight spaces, and cleans hard-to-reach areas, providing an even smoother, more thorough experience.

Characteristics

• Powered by a 4-joint motor module, the arm extends up to 30cm and lifts objects weighing up to 400g, such as toys and shoes, eliminating the need for manual cleaning.

• The robot uses monocular structured light and an AI-enhanced binocular system to precisely identify and grasp objects such as slippers and toys.

• Features an RGB camera mounted on top of the robot, for 360° coverage, allowing users to interact with pets or monitor cleaning from different angles.

• The robotic arm is also designed to independently select and use tools such as brushes and sponges, achieving a reach of 40cm to clean low spaces and narrow crevices.

Cleaning without “contamination”

Thanks to the new dock Multi-Mop by Dreame, a critical problem is solved: cross-contamination between rooms during cleaning. The smart docking station is designed to hold up to three pairs of mop cloths and automatically switches between cloths for different areas, ensuring hygienic cleaning tailored to each space.

Two main features:

• From general cleaning to grease or pet stains, each cloth is optimized for specific tasks.

• The system replaces dirty laundry during

cleaning, ensuring uniform results in all rooms without spreading dirt or germs.

Both the Bionic Multi-Joint robotic arm and the Multi-Mop replacement dock will be officially released later this year.
