The Royal family doctor is found dead, her husband is accused of murder: the children were in the house

Hannah Terry, also known as Hannah Cain, was found on the morning of October 4 at her home in Dersingham (Norfolk). The 45-year-old woman was a doctor and in the past had treated various members of the Royal family, in particular Queen Camilla. Her husband, Mark Cain, is now charged with murder. According to what the Daily mailthe royal family was made aware of the sad news.

The investigations

On the evening of October 6, the woman’s husband was formally charged with murder. The man appeared at Norwich Crown Court wearing a black sweatshirt but spoke only to confirm his age, name and address. He is due back in court on October 8, while District Judge Matthew Bone ordered him remanded in custody.

According to what was reconstructed by the prosecutor Jacqui Hanlo, Dr. Cain was “found by the emergency services in a bedroom on the upper floor of the building, unconscious and not breathing”. He further stated that the autopsy examination “revealed a blunt force injury to the right side of the head, as well as an injury that may indicate neck compression. There were also children present at the scene.”

Dr Terry was among the members of the team at Grimston medical centre. The clinic was closed on October 5 and 6 following his death. The facility reopened, saying it would have no comment “on the circumstances surrounding the tragic passing of our colleague, Dr. Hannah Terry.”
