The tenth Starship flight test, the Spacex aircraft designed for future trips to the Moon and Mars, was postponed for technical problems. This is the umpteenth stop for the mega rocket of Elon Musk, who already had problems in the past during the flight tests.
Spacex, postponed the tenth Starship test
On the launch site of the company, Starbase, near Boca Chica (Texas), the countdown was stopped “to allow the resolution of a problem with the land systems”, writes Spacex in a post on X. The press conference that Musk should have kept around the Italian midnight, as had happened in the test of May 27, has also canceled. Subsequently Spacex communicated to his site that the new launch attempt for the tenth Starship test is scheduled for 1.30 Italians on 26 August. The program and the objectives of the test remain unchanged.
Also on its website, Elon Musk’s company says that “flight tests continue to provide valuable teachings for the design of the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. With the increase in production within Starfactory at Starbase – continues the company – and the construction of new launch infrastructures and tests in Texas and Florida, Starship is ready to continue the process towards a quick launch system and completely reusable “.
