WhatsApp, the news inspired by Instagram: here's what changes

It is not unusual, both in everyday life and, in particular, at work, to have the need to inform several people of an event or an appointment at the same time: the problem is that sometimes it is difficult to find the right moment in the day to do it, but with some care through WhatsApp you can take action by simply preparing the messages and scheduling them to be sent with a precise date and time.

This interesting and very useful feature is actually already available to all users who have the version Business of the Meta instant messaging app: this is a version specifically designed especially for companies that use the app to maintain direct and constant contact with their customers.

To access the functionality, simply go to the “Settings” of the program, then access the “Activity Tools” item and finally configure the text of the absence message you want to send by selecting the recipient or recipients and setting the date and time. of the sending. The option is also very useful in cases where you want to send a text with a fixed periodic deadline, such as greetings for the holidays or a birthday or a simple reminder.

However, you can think of planning the sending of messages to your contacts in case of need even by relying on some external applications, although there is some limit on the number of recipients, especially for the free versions: for Android, for example, there are programs like Wasavi o Skedit. The latter, free with advertising or in a Premium version, can be downloaded directly from the Play Store. Once installed, you can reach the WhatsApp item from the main screen, then select the contacts to send the desired text to, fill in the contents and finally set the date and time from the Schedule drop-down menu.

For the Web version, considering the fact that iOS does not have third-party apps available for scheduling messages on WhatsApp, you can instead rely on the WhatBot program.

However, in general, these are tools that are easy and intuitive to manage, which can give a big hand in situations like this, considering the fact that often when you are overloaded with commitments it is almost unthinkable to send reminders individually and at the exact moment in which it is deemed necessary to inform one of your contacts well in advance.
