Trump also responded to reporters’ questions about the conflict in Ukraine: “Hopefully in the not too distant future, perhaps before the harsh winter arrives, they will reach an agreement.”
The president of the United States then appeared optimistic about the possibility of reaching an agreement with the Cuban authorities. “I believe that the United States and Cuba will be able to reach an agreement. I don’t think that military intervention will be necessary,” he told reporters at the White House. “Cuba is going through a very serious crisis and we want to help it,” he continued, “we want to reopen it to our citizens. There are many extraordinary Cuban-Americans who wish to return.”
