Then the climax: “I can promise you one thing: If the Republicans win the House and the Senate, I will distribute a $5,000 dividend to all adults, much like successful companies pay dividends to shareholders.” Only one restriction for the “Trump dividend”: it must be spent in the USA.

Promise aside, his long speech was a series of points already underlined a thousand times, starting with having “won the presidency three times”, referring to the 2016, 2020 and 2024 elections. And then the “secure borders”, the duties to raise cash, and Iran: “If we hadn’t struck with our B-2s it would now have a nuclear weapon”. The inevitable greeting to the tune of Ymca.
