Ukraine is continuing to heavily target oil facilities in Russia

Russian authorities have reported that Ukraine has targeted several industrial infrastructures in various regions of the country with drone attacks. In the Tulau region, south of Moscow, governor Dmitry Milyaev said debris from a downed aircraft fell on the area of a chemical plant in Novomoskovsk, while videos circulated on social media showing a fire at the Asot site, one of Russia’s main chemical plants. According to local authorities, another attack hit fuel storage facilities in the Yaroslavl region. The Russian Defense Ministry said 249 drones were shot down in several areas of the country. In Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that several attacks had been repelled, while operations at Zhukovsky and Domodedovo airports were temporarily suspended for security reasons.
