For months, the names of the Cappa twins have returned to the center of the debate on the Garlasco case. A series of theories, suspicions and reconstructions – often relaunched on social media and by the press – have fueled new shadows on people who, it is necessary to remember it, have never been investigated. Neither today nor in 2007, neither the twins nor the members of their family. The same goes for the brother of Chiara Poggi and for other subjects brought up over the years: none of them have ever played a formal role in the investigation. In this video we analyze ten key points: often misrepresented elements, denied testimonies, coincidences that have become illications. To date there is no concrete proof, no accusation, no investigative feedback. Only suggestive hypotheses, imaginative interpretations and – in some cases – real defamations. A rigorous reconstruction, in full respect of the presumption of innocence and the dignity of the people involved. Because telling a news factor requires attention, responsibility and long memory.
