In the last few days, the news has become viral on the web and on the main social networks that the Meta Development Team was at work to insert a new blue check, the third, on WhatsApp.
This graphic novelty, according to the information circulated on the net, should have appeared to inform the users of the instant messaging app in real time when any of the participants in a chat had carried out one screenshot of the conversation, with the aim of saving it for itself or to propose it again. Well, however useful and interesting, this new option is not available to users nor has it been identified within a beta version of the application, and beyond. According to what reported by some experts, in fact, it is a “hoax” that is periodically re -examined and spread on the web and, given the situation, it is certainly not excluded that it can soon be re -proposed for the umpteenth time. Currently the Meta Development Team is not only not working to make the phantom third blue check available, but it would not even have planned to create this new functionality.
A clarification in this sense comes from a very authoritative voice when it comes to WhatsApp, or that of Wabetainfoportal that takes care of analyzing the preview news of the instant messaging app, going to dissect the beta versions to reveal what awaits us with the next application updates.“In the last few hours I have received several messages, from many users, who asked for information about the third check on WhatsApp, who should notify when a conversation screenshot is made”writes the administrator of the X page of Wabetainfo, “This is a fake news. At the moment the developers are at work to implement a new function capable of simplifying procedures to create one on WhatsApp communityidentified by Wabetainfo’s experts in version 2.25.3.15, thanks to which you can quickly access the chat directly through a shortcut to the Overflow menu. No third checks, therefore, which remains at least for now a simple hoax.
The two are already known to everyone, or the first that appears to report the sending of a message and the second to notify the delivery correctly on the recipient’s phone or one of the connected devices. The twofold blue appears, however, informs that the recipient or all participants in a conversation have received and displayed this message.
