Also Apple evolves in the direction of the iartificial intelligence: this was one of the main themes of Apple's global streaming Keynote which took place in Cupertino, California, with CEO Tim Cook speaking about “evolutionary leap“, a new technological era with Apple Intelligence. The company also presented numerous other innovations including access to OpenAI's ChatGPT when Siri is used but only if the setting is chosen by the user. New developer versions of the software will be released starting Monday, June 17 before it goes into public preview next month – final versions of the new software will roll out to all users next fall.
How Apple Intelligence works
Among the first things to come to light, the new artificial intelligence will be able to group the email provided that they come from the same team but they will also be able to summarize the content so as to have an immediate overview of the main things instead of reading the entire text if you are in a hurry. Same thing about messages more important ones that will automatically have an “alert”. In this way we meet the needs of thousands if not millions of people all over the world who find dozens and dozens of emails every day.
The new Apple Intelligence will also be able to personalize photos, create new ones with your own images, those of friends or relatives to show in joke mode as if they were a comic or super hero. Another big news will be represented by Genmoji on messages: in practice, emojis will be produced automatically based on the most important words contained within the chat.
How iOS 18 works
Apple's new iOS 18 greatly increases the privacy by blocking some apps that can only be operational with facial recognition, touch with the owner's fingers or with the classic password: in this way the apps that give access to one's bank account, for example, will be safer, but apps can also be hidden if the phone is lost or stolen. Important news when our device has no network or if there is no Wi-Fi connection: it will still be possible to send messages Street satellite that will reach the recipient.
Italy “excluded” from Pro Vision
The viewer of the latest generation of Apple Vision Pro Os 2 will arrive in eight other countries, in addition to the United States, but Italy is not included among these. Tim Cook, announcing the news and updates including the possibility of being able to better manage the photos in the archive, explained that from next June 28th it will also be possible to purchase them in China, Japan and Singapore and from July 12th also in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain.
“Calligraphy” on the iPad
In the digital world we have now lost the habit of writing as when we take notes with a pen on a sheet of paper: more or less the same thing, however, will be available on iPadOS 18 with an update called “Smart Script” which will allow you to write on the iPad thanks to calligraphy. The option will be used above all for those documents that need to be in “paper” format as much as possible but all this will happen through technology. Software with artificial intelligence will eliminate errors when typing quickly or making typos to optimize time.
“It will still be your style but will appear softer, clearer and more readable“, explained an Apple employee. Even with copy-paste, users will seem to have written by hand because their handwriting will appear on the screen.
