The idea was born right from here. And it was the one that inspired Uli Stanciu – at the time director of Bike Magazine – who had the intuition of creating an event capable of catalyzing the attention of hundreds of manufacturers of the cycling sector and those of an audience of bikers curious to discover the news of the sector but above all who had the desire to try them on the marked paths that start and can be pedaled in these areas.
For three years now the Bike Festival in Riva has passed into the hands of the company for Tourism Garda Dolomiti which has relaunched with a series of novelties ranging from a new exhibition area, to new paths, to events. “The big news this year is the new location, wider, more modern, greener and with the same energy ever- he explains Silvio Rigatti, President Garda Dolomiti Company for Tourism Spa said: I have even been told that this is the best ever! The Bike Marathon is scheduled for professionals and amateurs on three distances of 30, 67 and 83 km; The Maxxis Gravel with two 100 km tracks with a difference in altitude of 1,750 meters and 65 km with 480 meters in altitude; The Bosch and MTB Challenge that combines Uphill, Downhill and Orienteering and the Junior Trophy with routes from 250 to 3,500 meters in length for the little ones. Also scheduled for 4 guided tours per day to discover Garda Trentino starting from the Expo area and to improve its driving technique.
