From 1st to 4th Augustthe Santa Margherita Bay of Castelluzzo, in San Vito Lo Capo, becomes the place of flavors, traditions and entertainment with “Bagli, Olio e Mare”.
The 2024 edition is enriched with important innovations: an expanded gastronomic offer with daily themed menus, the introduction of exciting paragliding and parawinch sessions, excursions and interesting talk shows with experts in the food and wine and tourism sectors.

The program opens on August 1st with flight activities from 12:00, followed by a suggestive trek “I Tesori fra gli Ulivi” at 17:00. The evening will continue with a dinner under the stars, a talk show with special guests and will end with the concert of ExtraLarge.
The talk show on August 1st, at 8:30 p.m., will feature Francesco La Sala, mayor of San Vito lo Capo; Vito Grammatico, president of the Cultural Tourism Association “Castelluzzo”; Matteo Ala, communication and marketing expert for Sicilia Food Awards; and Rosa Palmeri, food technologist. Hosted by Vittoria Abbenante.

August 2nd will follow with the trekking “The Tower and the Infinity” in the afternoon and in the evening the dinner under the stars and the concert of Frthone.

The weekend of August 3rd and 4th will see the addition of “Lunch with your nose up” at 1:00 p.m., in addition to the usual flight activities, dinners under the stars and evening concerts with The New Band and I Cantunera. All concerts start at 10:30 p.m.
On August 3rd, again at 8.30 pm, a second talk show will be held by the newspaper Chronicles of taste which will deal with themes related to the sea, oil and historic bagli. Participants include: Giacomo Pappalardo, president of the Cooperativa San Vito Pesca, Manfredi Barbera, CEO Oleifici Barbera, founder of Cofiol and advisor to Oro Sicilia, Memmo Gambina of the association “I sentieri di Gù”, Antonio Marino, president of Federalberghi Trapani, Fabrizio Carrera, journalist, director and founder of Cronache di Gusto, Peppe Buffa, chef and gastronomic director of Bagli, Olio e Mare.
The talk will be moderated by journalist Clara Minissale.

The Gastronomic Village, completely renovated in the 2024 edition, will welcome guests for dinner on Thursdays and Fridays, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering the perfect opportunity for an evening dedicated to taste. At the weekend, the offer expands: on Saturdays and Sundays, in addition to the evening dinner, it will be possible to enjoy a lunch from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy Sicilian flavors even in the brightest hours of the day.
The beating heart of the Village is its tasting menu. This gastronomic journey begins with fragrant bruschetta, an appetizer that teases the palate and prepares for the delights to follow. The first courses, the true flagship of Sicilian cuisine, change daily: on Thursday you can taste the Spaccatelle Torre Salina, on Friday the Pennette Tonnara Cofano, on Saturday the traditional Pasta with anchovieswhile Sunday will be the turn of the Trapani-style pasta with garlica timeless classic.
The journey continues with a second course of fried fish of the day, guaranteeing freshness and quality. To conclude the meal, the sweetness of seasonal fruit. All accompanied by a good glass of local wine or, for those who prefer, fresh water.

The event maintains its strong commitment to sustainability, with a completely car-free area, the use of 100% plastic-free materials and a separate waste collection that reaches 98%. Entrance to the event is free, while specific activities such as tastings and excursions are subject to a fee and can be booked directly on site.

Bagli, Olio e Mare is organized bythe Cultural Tourist Association “Castelluzzo” with the contribution of the Municipality of San Vito lo Capo in collaboration with local companies.
