Many reports relating to a problem with Whatsapp by users who in recent hours are experiencing difficulties in sending video files. Those who are interested are the owners of Android smartphones, who are comparing themselves on the web to try to understand what is happening to Meta's instant messaging platform. Apparently this is a bug.
The WhatsApp bug
There are so many messages online from users who complain about not being able to send videos via WhatsApp. Apparently it would take several attempts to be able to send the video via chat and it is not always successful. For some, in fact, the function is just inaccessible. Everything points to a bugs, hopefully temporary. Those who are affected are users of smartphones with the Android operating system, while it seems that those who have an iPhone have not been affected by the problem.
As can be read from the various user messages exchanged on Redditas soon as you try to send a video files a pop-up message appears saying: “Unable to send this video. Choose a different video and try again“. This happens with every type of video that you choose to share. It seems that the error in progress is related precisely to theprocessing of the video file. WhatsApp, essentially, cannot load it.
According to some, the problem could have been caused by the latter update to version v2.24.9.34, but not everyone is convinced.
A temporary solution
While waiting for the error to be resolved, advice is already pouring in on how to proceed to try to get around the problem. Some suggest carrying out a downgrade to version 2.24.8.85. For those who have not yet made the latest update, the advice is not to update.
Another method to bypass the bug is to send the video file by treating it as a normal one standard documentand not as multimedia content.
So you need to click on the icon indicating the attached files, then proceed by tapping on the document icon and finally select the file to send.
