Giorgia Franceschelli, an 18-year-old Italian originally from Grosseto, was involved in an accident in the United States. The young woman was in a car traveling along US 270. The driver was charred to death. The girl is in the United States to pursue her sporting dream related to softball.

The crash occurred near Hugle Road in Latimer County, Oklahoma. As reported Ktulan affiliate of the broadcaster ABCit was another vehicle that hit Giorgia and her friend. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reconstructed the dynamics of the accident. Eighteen-year-old Riley Parks was traveling eastbound when he struck a deer that had crossed into the roadway.
The young man tried to avoid the animal, but in doing so he occupied the opposite lane in which the 18-year-old Italian and another boy were travelling. The front was terrible. The car with Giorgia on board caught fire and the driver was charred to death. The Italian girl survived but suffered several fractures to her pelvis, ankle, arms and ribs. His life is not in danger. The parents flew to the United States to be with their daughter during this difficult time.
