The experts of an IT security agency discovered a malware, nicknamed Crocodilusextremely dangerous because it has an unpublished operating mechanism. Here’s how these users work and what they risk.
The peculiarity and at the same time the danger of this scam is the ability to create false contacts in the phone book and, through them, to directly attack the owners of smartphones to try to steal passwords and bank credentials. But not only that: once the malware are installed, the scammers have the ability to control ours remote device. This, of course, leads them to have access to all our bailouts: from photos to sensitive data. The malware could therefore download data, allow downloads of applications and save account without being easily discovered. In short, according to experts it could be a more dangerous version of the crocodilus nicknamed malware. The most affected are the owners of high -end smartphones and, in particular, Android users.
There are four ways to defend yourself. The first is to avoid downloading software from third parties. Secondly, it would be necessary to never click on links of dubious origin or on connections present in messages that come from unknown contacts.
