These are the main contents at the center of the “From Zero to Infinito” exhibition: a project of the National Institute of Astrophysics and European Southern Observatory by Stefano Sandrelli, Anna Wolter, Davide Coero Borga. The set-up will remain available to the public until April 5, as part of the “Astronomy Week”, the event now in the sixth edition conceived and organized by the Lombardy Foundation for the Environment, Euresis Association and Astronomical Astronomical Observatory of Brera in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan and Aquarium and Civic Hydrobiological Station of Milan.

The “Astronomy Week” is hosted for the first time in Milan, at the Civic Aquarium (Viale Gadio 2), full of a conference program open to citizens and secondary schools of I and II degree, in the company of university researchers and professors, in addition to the possibility of admiring the starry sky from the Brera Astronomical Observatory – Merate (LC). A week of events widespread to educate, excite and bring young people closer and not to the themes of the universe, with a simple and educational approach.

“Milan has always been a strong link with science and research comments Tommaso Sacchi, councilor for culture of Milan and initiatives such as this confirm the role of cities that looks to the future with curiosity and ambition. The success of the civic museums and the museum institutes of the Municipality derives from the fact of being able to host and organize moments of high scientific thickness, exactly like this week of astronomy, an important appointment for the cultural calendar of the city “. And again. «With the Lombardy Foundation for the environment we share a mission explains the president Arpa, Lucia Lo Palo which is that of environmental education, in particular aimed at the youngest. It is a trajectory that we follow with great conviction, happy to see how it then translates into appointments of this level ». Moreover.

“A special thanks goes to the University: University of Milan, University of Pavia, Polytechnic of Milan, University of Milan Bicocca and Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, together with the Astronomical Observatory of Brera and the Euresis Association – added Matteo Fumagalli, president of the Lombardy Foundation for the Environment – our gratitude is to continue today this project of environmental education, which is enriched by this year. Collaboration with the Municipality of Milan and with the Civic Aquarium of Milan, which will host the exhibition and conferences.

For us it is an exciting path of knowledge and we hope that more and more schools, children and adults will be part of it. The scheduled meetings, both for citizenship and for schools, are already sold out to confirm the goodness of the initiative “(Info program: www.flanet.org).
