THE’Tiber Day Association announces the dates of the sixth edition of the largest event dedicated to the revitalization of the capital’s river: the Tiber Day come back from 7 to 13 October 2024. After the success achieved by the event in previous editions, the autumn event is reconfirmed with a program full of initiatives aimed at adults and children, which will be revealed during the press conference scheduled for October 2nd at 11:00, in the prestigious Sala Giulio Cesare of the Campidoglio, demonstrating how the event has already received full support and attention from the Municipal Authority and the Lazio Region. The conference will also be the moment dedicated to important announcements regarding the goals achieved thanks to the work carried out by the association in all these years.

On the occasion of sixth edition of Tiber Daythey will be over 100 The events which will make up the rich offering of the event, which will unfold along the way approximately 80 kilometers of banks of the Tiber, with the key points for the city located at the height of the Lungotevere degli Anguillaradel Bridge of Musicand of Scalo de Pinedo; but the territory, to the north and south of the city crossed by the river, will also be the protagonist, with the commercials of Nazzano Tevere Farfa Park, Ostia Antica and Fiumicino with i Imperial Ports. While waiting for the official announcement of the program during the press conference on October 2nd, some previews of the event include the “Environmental Lessons”initiatives aimed at schools of different levels to raise awareness on sustainability issues. Three days (from 11 to 13 October) of environmental education for studentsorganized by TevereVivo together with the most important environmental associations (Marevivo, Legambiente, Istituto Dohrn, Più Blu, etc.), with the contribution of the Ministry of the Environment and with the participation of the School department of the Municipality of Rome and the Environment department of the Municipality and the Lazio Region. A great awaited return as part of Tiber Day will be the Municipal Music Festivalan event that will offer the public a series of popular music concerts in the largest gathering of neighborhood orchestras, bands, ensembles and choirs from the various municipalities of Rome Capital.
