The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella signed the budget bill presented by the government led by Giorgia Meloni. The text of maneuver – of around 30 billion gross – will now be subjected to the parliamentary process: it contains 144 articles ranging from tax measures to spending reviews, from pensions to new bonuses.
One of the most anticipated points of the maneuver is the cutting the tax wedge. The measure will involve 1.3 million more workers than the 13 million already affected by the measure in force. The Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti he underlined that we go from incomes of up to 35 thousand euros to incomes of up to 40 thousand euros. But that’s not all. The owner of the Treasury highlighted a new measure: “The tax benefit of up to 5 thousand euros to reimburse the expenses of workers that companies transfer”.

Among the novelties of the maneuver we also highlight the establishment of a bottom near the Mur with a budget of 150 million euros for 2027 and 2028 which supports the activities of the national centers and extended partnerships, as well as research initiatives for innovative technologies and paths in the health and care sector of the National Complementary Plan (PNC), so as to allow consolidation over time and economic-financial sustainability at the end of the implementation period of the Pnrr. As for the Raito reduce operating costs, the state TV will not have the possibility to increase expenses for staff and consultancy assignments during 2025. For 2026, however, it will have to reduce spending by at least 2 percent compared to the average of expenses incurred from 2021 to 2023. The reduction in spending will rise to 4 percent in 2027. News also for Lotto and Superenalotto: from 2025 there will be an additional weekly draw on Fridays.
