Taking the floor, Meloni thanked The Donald for the hospitality and recalled how important it is to work together to guarantee Ukraine’s safety. “Today a new phase begins after three years, thanks to Trump and thanks to the stall on the field,” added the Italian premier during the meeting. “We will discuss guarantees to make sure that it never happens again,” added Meloni. “To reach peace and justice we must remain united, if we want to guarantee peace we have to do it together, united. She can count on Italy and will support all her efforts towards peace”.
