If there’s one thing I’ve been obsessed with this week, it’s watching the Kamala Harris polls. Yes, because every day that passes, I read the newspapers and I remember that headline of the Corriere della Sera which described the Democratic frontrunner for the presidency of the United States as the frontrunner. Now there seems to be no trace left.
And yet we are talking about just a few days ago. “Harris already ahead according to the polls,” they wrote triumphantly as soon as her candidacy was announced, even though she has not yet been nominated by the Democratic Congress. Today the music in the newspapers is very different: According to the polls, Trump is still ahead in key states and there is no sign of the effect of Harris’ candidacy. He even says so Republic which doesn’t exactly strike me as a pro-Trump newspaper.
In short, all the polls do not see this Harris effect, which instead he had immediately seen, so much so as to dedicate the front page to it, the Corriere della Sera. Fantastic!
