Alarm among iPhone owners, who recently saw their reminders disappear from theirNotes app. This is a problem encountered by several users, so much so that Apple itself was forced to intervene. As explained by various online portals that deal with technology, it seems that what caused the mix-up was having accepted the new terms of service of iCloud on your iPhone. It was this procedure that triggered the bug that knocked out the Notes application on the iPhone.
Apparently this happens following the iOS 18 update, but, although the Notes seem to have disappeared, in reality the iPhone has not eliminated them. The data, in fact, remains on iCloudthe problem is that the Notes application does not synchronize correctly, generating the problem that is worrying many users who had also saved important information among the reminders. Even before the solution proposed by the Cupertino giant, the most expert users managed to solve the problem by synchronizing their Notes from iCloud.
Subsequently, Apple’s solution also arrived. The company released an official document in which it does not explain what actually happened, but offers a very similar solution to the unofficial one. Apple has also made it known that “lost” contents can be easily recovered via the automatic synchronization of iCloud.
It must be said that not all iPhone owners have encountered this problem. In case the Notes are no longer visible, then just follow these simple steps. The app must be opened Settings and from there access the iCloud section. At this point you have to choose Notes and make sure the item “Sync this device” is active. Once done you can go and check for yourself, seeing if the Notes have reappeared. If the reminders are not yet visible, then it is suggested to restart your device, be it an iPhone, or an iPad or an Apple Vision Pro. Once restarted you need to check again.
Unfortunately it seems that the Note problem is not the only problem to have been reported. Some users have spoken of an inability to accept the new iCloud terms.
During the operation the error message “The action could not be completed“. To solve this problem, the Cupertino company recommends update your device up to the latest version of iOS.
