The Chambers are preparing for a return from vacation that is nothing short of explosive. After a decidedly muted month, where the main focus was on the wars that are destabilizing the international scene and the twists and turns, which have certainly not been lacking, in the race for the American presidency, the internal political debate has exploded again. A week of controversies, low blows and scandals that gives the podium of the worst three new faces. In third place climbs Carlotta Nonnis Marzanoforced to resign as Councilor for the Environment at the Municipality of Bari just twenty-four hours after her appointment. A negative record from the Guinness Book of Records for the biology professor at the University of Bari brought into politics by the winning duo (so to speak) Bonelli-Fratoianni. After the scandals of the Soumahoro family and the questionable candidacies of Lucano and Salis, here they are embarking on yet another flop. And to think that the posts in which she calls the Pope a “bothersome elderly man” and a pedophile, in which she describes the leaders of the G7 as “useless parasites”, in which she is sorry for the failed attack on Trump, were there for all to see. Even Bonelli and Fratoianni. Having read certain posts, even twenty-four hours as councilor is already too much. Now, perhaps, someone should consider having someone who writes obscenities like that teach at the university.
In second place is another keyboard hater: Mattia Tombolininow a collaborator of Ilaria Salis. His posts, if possible, are even more violent than those of Nonnis Marzano. There is the one, for example, in which he exults in front of the burning of Giorgia Meloni’s puppet. “Burn, bitch!”, his post on Facebook. And then there is the one in which he publishes, with satisfaction, photographs of policemen being beaten with sticks. Unfortunately, they are not surprising considering the environment Tombolini comes from, that is, that of social centers. How could they not It’s surprising that Salis took him to work with her, given the bad guys she was hanging out with when she was arrested in Hungary. And, while the controversy heats up, the MEP is all worried about the prison emergency. Which, yes, is indeed a problem, but the best solution is certainly not the one she proposed. The teacher with a thing for occupations would, in fact, like to solve the problem of overcrowding by abolishing prisons altogether.
The first place goes to the president of the National Association of Magistrates (ANM), Joseph Santalucia. The whole row starts from the background brought out by the director Alessandro Sallusti on Newspaper on the existence of an axis between newspapers, prosecutors and political parties (of the left) to investigate Arianna Meloni. A background that Palazzo Chigi considers highly plausible because it follows the modus operandi used by the System years ago to hit Silvio Berlusconi. The ANM immediately came to the aid of the judiciary accusing us of Newspaper and the government to create hoaxes but above all asking the CSM to sanction anyone who joins in criticizing the robes. From Santalucia always the same whining: it is an attack on the independence of the judiciary, an attack on democracy and so on.
Unfortunately, if we were to sit here and recall all the plots organized by the magistrates against the center-right, the exact opposite would be clear. That is, democracy has been repeatedly threatened by the judiciary, putting the independence of politics and the popular vote in check.
