A real AI Tutor for studying and one for teaching. These are the two innovative tools launched by Mondadori Education, Rizzoli Education and Deascuola, the three scholastic publishing houses of the Mondadori Group. This is a new generation of teaching tools based on Artificial Intelligence, integrated within the Digital Books and Teaching Areas of the proprietary digital platform HUB Scuola. The Digital Book AI Tutor is a virtual study companion designed to accompany girls and boys on their learning journey.
It does not replace the book, but enhances it, becoming an ally: it offers clear explanations and targeted examples, reworking the textual and visual information to make it more understandable and generating moments of verification useful for consolidating knowledge. The AI Tutor’s answers are based exclusively on the textbook adopted in class and its digital resources, ensuring consistency, reliability and full adherence to the school level. Studying thus becomes even more personalized, with support that stimulates curiosity and makes learning more engaging. The Tutor is a tool also available to teachers, who can use it to organize personalized activities on the topics of the textbook.

With this project, the teaching methodology promoted by HUB Scuola is innovated, thanks to safe, reliable tools based on solid pedagogical principles, with the aim of accompanying young people in lower and upper secondary schools in the responsible and educational use of new technologies.
HUB Scuola also provides teachers with a specific AI Tutor, designed to build targeted lessons and educational paths, consistent with the educational objectives and characteristics of the class. Through natural language, teachers can converse with the AI Tutor of the HUB Scuola Teaching Areas to create complete lesson plans, adaptable to the needs of the class and enriched by the certified digital resources present. The Tutor is also able to manage different teaching methodologies starting from the teacher’s requests, and to help balance the phases of the lesson, suggesting effective strategies for time management and student involvement, based on the different levels and learning styles. With this initiative, artificial intelligence becomes a precious resource to make learning more effective, accessible and personalized, in the classroom and at home.
