After a long wait, Instagram arrives with a novelty for a long time, i.e. i Repost. It is, in essence, the possibility of being able to publish any content already shared again. If until today the users have had to engineer, using applications or resorting to screenshots with mention, here is finally the platform has decided to intervene.
The Repost is part of a package containing a series of updates for users. Social users will therefore find a new button, that of the Repost, below each post or Reel. Recall that before there were already three buttons: the heart to put a likesthe ballon that indicates the comments, an arrow to forward it or insert it in a story. Now a quarter has been added for the repost.
The repost allows you to share the contents on the feed. “Now, with the repost, the map and the ‘Amici’ tab in Reels, it is easier for you and your friends to stay in touch through the contents you like on Instagram”this is what we read in the press release that the developers have published on the platform blog. “Repost will be recommended in feed Of your friends and followers and will also be in a separate card on your profile, so you can always return to review your repost “.
The aim is obviously to connect people even more, which by exploiting Instagram as a place to find themselves. The reposts, it is also explained, will find themselves in oneseparate area from the user’s profile, which can consult the page. “If you are a creator, this means that if your content is republished by someone else, they could be recommended to that person’s followers, even if these people do not follow you. This offers Creators a new opportunity to reach more people every time you create something that is worth sharing. To republish a Reel or a post, tap the republication icon”we read again.
Not only the Repost button, in the Instagram update package there is also the
novelty section “Friends“present both in the Reels and Feed.
The new functions are available for all accounts. If not present, the advice is that of update The app.
