King Carlo III has cancer. He announced it Buckingham Palaceexplaining that the sovereign has been diagnosed with a form of cancer for which he has already started the relevant treatments.
There is no official news on the type of tumor, but as far as we know, the disease is not linked to the recent surgery she underwent prostate. The sovereign, the royal palace says, “remains entirely positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public service as soon as possible”.
“During the King’s recent hospital operation for a benign enlargement of the prostate – the statement reads – another matter of concern emerged. Subsequent diagnostic tests identified a form of cancer“. And again: “His Majesty began a regular treatment program today, during which doctors advised him to postpone his public commitments. During this period, Her Majesty will continue to deal with state affairs and official paperwork as usual.”
The statement continues by stating that “the King is grateful to his team medical for their rapid intervention, made possible thanks to his recent hospital intervention. Your Majesty has chosen to share your diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope that you can aid public understanding for all those around the world affected by cancer.”
According to the BBC, Prince Harry, the king’s second son Carlo III of England, has spoken with his father and will go to London in the next few days. “I wish His Majesty a speedy and full recovery. I have no doubt that he will return in full force and I know that the whole country wishes him well,” Prime Minister Rusi Sunak wrote instead.
