Lg: new highly energy efficient appliances are arriving

On the occasion of Ifa 2026 (4 – 8 September), Lg Electronics will present the new range of highly energy efficient household appliances. In particular, in the area of the LG stand in Ifa called “Energy Leadership Zone”, the new models of high-efficiency washing machines, washer-dryers and dryers will be on display. Among these, the new model of the Next AI DD washing machine range in class A-70% stands out, the new washer-dryer in class A-30% for washing and class A-10% for the complete washing and drying cycle.

LG is also committed to integrating this type of efficiency into the new mid-range models by exploiting the performance of its proprietary technologies, including the Direct Drive motor and the advanced Inverter compressor, designed to optimize the speed and power of the motor during each phase of the washing cycle, contributing to greater energy efficiency.

The new Lg dryers integrate Dual Inverter Heat Pump technology, which efficiently recovers and reuses the heat within the system, reducing consumption without compromising drying performance.

Lg also expands its offering of high-efficiency refrigerators, with a wide selection of class A models, including combined refrigerators that exceed class A requirements by up to 35%, as well as Side-by-Side and French Door models positioned in energy class A.

Also in this case, it is Lg’s proprietary technologies that allow this performance to be achieved. Among these, the technological solutions for controlling and maintaining the temperature and the Inverter motor stand out, as well as the integration of Artificial Intelligence options such as AI Saving which analyzes usage data over a period of three weeks and automatically adapts the refrigerator’s cooling performance based on use, helping to reduce consumption in periods of lesser use.

Attention to consumption also characterizes the new range of dishwashers, with almost all models reaching class A. The result is possible thanks to a new compact drive unit, which reduces water consumption and, consequently, the energy needed to heat it, together with a further optimized inverter motor.

At the top of the range are the models equipped with Hybrid Air Dry technology, which improves air circulation and reduces drying times, allowing energy savings of up to 30% higher than class A requirements.

Designed for everyday use, the new AI SenseClean technology is designed to efficiently manage even lightly soiled loads, while optimizing energy and water consumption. Rather than applying the same settings to every wash, AI SenseClean processes customized cycles based on 32 variables, intelligently adjusting parameters such as temperature and duration to ensure effective cleaning, while optimizing the use of energy and resources.

Further information, such as prices and availability, of the new range of Lg appliances will be communicated soon.
