Never more messages unanswered: how to set the new WhatsApp function to help the most distracted

Even the most caring and careful can happen, especially when absorbed completely by daily commitments, to forget to respond to a message received on WhatsApp: precisely to avoid such inconveniences, the destiners of Meta have created a new option capable of acting as a reminder.

According to Wabetainfo’s experts, the function has been made available in the most recent version of the instant messaging app for iOSi.e. 25.25.74: for the moment the possibility of downloading it has been granted to a limited number of users, since it is still a test phase, but in the next few days the audience will certainly be expanded.

There feature had already been launched in advance last July for devices equipped with Androidthrough the release of the beta version 2.25.21.14, and had immediately collected numerous consents among the testers: now, with the release of the latest update for iOS, it will be possible for all users to benefit from the same solutions, taking advantage of a decidedly comfortable option.

As anticipated, this function meets the needs of those who, while receiving an important message to which they care in particular, are forced not to respond immediately for various reasons, whether it is unplugal commitments and a time when the grid of the network is missing. Whatever the cause, it may happen that you have to postpone the answer, until you forget it completely.

It is here that it intervenes “Remind me“, option renamed in an unofficial way” reminder “in Italian. To activate it, simply click on the message until a drop -down menu appears. From here, indicated with the icon of a bell, you can select” Remind me “, setting the timing of the notice: the preset options available are 2, 8, or 24 hours, or the user can also manually indicate a certain date, pre -established.

Once this phase is over, as proof of the setting of the reminder, a bell will appear next to the selected message.

Once the time set, WhatsApp will recall the user’s attention on the indicated message, bringing the screen the screen notification: if they are videos, images or animated gifs, the system will also propose a preview.

No risk to our privacy: as insured by the developers, in fact, the reminders will not be archived on any server, to guarantee the total confidentiality of the communication.
