Nothing, here is the new Phone (3): a phone designed to inspire

Not only a smartphone but, for the first time, “on ear” headphones. Nothing, the company founded by Carl Pei (who was also the creator of OnePlus), revealed two new ones to London: the Phone (3) and the Headphone (1). The latter mark the entrance into a new segment, which also means the expansion of the brand.

Phone (3): the flagship smartphone

After two years of development, Phone (3) represents the final jump for Nothing in the top of the range segment. A phone designed to inspire, built around three cardinal principles: power, originality and creative freedom. “The tech world has become boring -said Carl Pei to launch it -: all the phones resemble each other, do the same things, in the same way. We want to break this scheme”.

As? By changing for example the design, with a new three -column layout inspired by modern architecture. The silhouette is more ergonomic, the front edges have been reduced to 1.87 mm. 18% less than the Phone (2), while the body combines premium materials and geometric shapes. The most visible novelty is the Glyph Matrix, a micro-high matrix on the back that transforms light into language. Custom notifications, notices from specific apps, favorite contacts with pixelated avatar, interactive games such as spin the bottle and quick tools (mirror, stopwatch, battery indicator): everything lives on the back of the phone, reducing the time spent on the display. With Flip To Record, simply turn the face to face down to record and transcribe a conversation directly into Essential Space. And this is only the beginning: Nothing will allow developers to create new animations and functionality.

Camera and performance

Phone (3) is designed for content Creators: the pro-grade photographic system includes an optical zoom without loss, a main sensor of 1/1.3 “for exceptional night shots, and the possibility of recording 4K videos at 60 fps on all lenses with complete optical stabilization. The film presets, developed in collaboration with professional photographers, allow you to obtain film looks with a few touches.

Regarding the chipset, the heart of the device is the new Snapdragon 8S Gen 4, with performance clearly higher than the predecessor: +36% in CPU power, +88% in GPU, +60% in operations AI, and an improvement of 125% in the images recognition. All supported by a 5150 mAh battery, the largest ever integrated in a Nothing product, with rapid recharge at 65w cable and 15W wireless. In short, autonomy is easily covered over a day of intensive use. On the software front, Nothing OS 3.5 reaches Android 15 -based, with an update promised to Android 16 in autumn and 5 years of Major updates plus 7 of security patches. Among the most interesting software innovations:

Essential Search: a smart bar to look for content on the device or receive immediate answers on weather, events and nearby places.
Essential Space: a personal space for ideas, notes and notes, organized by AI as a real “second brain”.
Flip To Record: Press the side button, turn the phone face down and start recording, without using the screen.

Finally, the AMOLED panel of Phone (3) M is 6.67 inches, with 1.5K resolution, peak brightness up to 4500 nit, ultra HDR support, adaptive refresh rate from 30 to 120 Hz, sampling of the touch to 1000 Hz and PWM Dimming at 2160 Hz. The symmetrical edges on all sides push the screen-body ratio to 92.89%.

Phone (3) will arrive in two variants: 12 + 256 GB at 799 euros and 16 + 512 GB for 899 euros. Available in black and white, it will be in pre -order from 4 July 2025 on Nothing.tech, with official availability from 15 July.

Headphone headphones (1)

5 years after its Nothing Foundation, she enters the On Ear audio sector with headphone (1) which focus everything on refinement and premium materials. The bow and pavilions are in fact made of shaped aluminum, with high resistance plastic inserts, while the finishes include CNC and Memory Foam in processed components. The result is a robust, light and visually unique product, with ear -resistant ear bearings and capable of adapting to the shape of the head.

In contrast to most modern headphones, Nothing has chosen to give up touch controls in favor of an intuitive physical system. The commands are entrusted to three distinct elements:

Roller: a wheel that allows you to adjust the volume, pause or resume reproduction and, with prolonged pressure, move from the anch mode (active cancellation of noise) to transparency.
Paddle: a lever command to change track or, if kept pressed, quickly scroll through a song or audio content.
Button: a multifunction button that can be customized via the Nothing X app. With a single click, it is possible to activate Channel Hop, a function that allows you to quickly pass between audio apps and favorite functions without having to surf the menus. A command designed for multitasker, for those who listen to music, then a podcast, then a vocal note, all in the same journey.

Button can also be configured to activate voice commands, open Essential Space (the digital environment created by Nothing to collect thoughts and voice notes on the fly), or access the News Reporter.

Level audio, signed KEF

Behind the refined design, an advanced acoustic technology is hidden, the result of the collaboration between Nothing and Kef, a historic British brand specialized in high -end audio systems. The heart of the Headphone (1) is a 40 mm dynamic driver tailor -made to offer a natural and balanced sound, with deep bass, light clear and crystal clear high. The headphones support three listening methods: ANC (Active Noise Canceling), active cancellation of the noise that adapts to the environment in real time thanks to the microphones and an artificial intelligence system trained on over 28 million acoustic scenarios; The Transparency Mode, ideal for keeping in touch with the external environment without taking off your headphones, useful for example to converse or move safely, the Spatial Audio, immersive mode that adapts to the movements of the head, creating a three -dimensional sound stage that transforms any stereo source into a 360 ° experience. Thanks to the ENC system with 4 microphones, the calls are also clear and without interference, even in crowded or noisy environments.

Autonomy and connections

The Nothing Headphone (1) do not even disappoint on the autonomy front: they offer up to 35 hours of listening with a single charging, which can reach up to 80 hours deactivating the ANC. And 5 minutes of charging are enough to get 2.4 hours of reproduction.

At the level of connectivity, the support for Bluetooth 5.3, the simultaneous connection to two devices, the Fast Pair and the low latency make the switch from a smartphone to a laptop or a quick tablet without interruptions. An ideal feature for those who work on the move or often change devices during the day.
