Present Ernst Jünger’s thought in 100 aphorisms. A bold enterprise, which however did not scare Matteo Alesiani. The 40 -year -old Roman, in the specialist life of management In the context of digitization but with a passion for the philosophical and political studies, in particular, to the radical cultural references of the twentieth century, is, among other things, collaborator of the Polaris Study Center and editor of the Omonima magazine and has decided to print, for the types of Cinabro Edizioni, the short volume “Ernst Jünger – One hundred aphorisms “.

By dismissed the vast production, both non -fiction and narrative, of the German thinker, who disappeared at 103 years in 1998 and therefore a privileged observer of an entire century, Alesiani proposes 100 passages which, like sharpened blades and on the Nietzschian model who was dear, in the youth years, to the same Jünger, penetrate the heart of the reader, ranging on different topics, opening a passage to then, Eventually, to deepen the work of a complex philosopher, forged by those “steel storms” which refer to the title of one of his famous writings but which, as natural, has undergone an evolution over time. And, in fact, almost as an invitation to discover the Junger universe, designed above all for young people, two essays of the author, at the beginning and at the end of the volume, accompany the reading, trying to touch the essential points of the “transition to the forest” theorist, with particular attention to the theme of the technique.

The booklet, of agile reading, presents itself as a travel companion or as a sting, to be discovered and rediscovered at will, revealing itself as a handy ambassador, above all, of that critical thinking that, in our western contemporary, is unfortunately seen with growing suspicion.
