Peace or war?
This novelty, however, places us in front of a completely uncertain scenario and which will reveal itself in the coming weeks. Because on the one hand the international community has taken note of the net condemnation of the Hamas terrorist movement by the 22 countries of the Arab League – but also by the European Union and other nations – obviously including the leadership of the Palestinian National Authority that governs part of the territories of the West Bank, and which would therefore make one think of a decisive step forward of the peace process that can no longer be separated from the elimination of at least Hamas, of the Arab countries and the international isolation of Hamas, left to his destiny by both Iran and Qatar, may have reinforced the position of the Israeli government to focus everything on the military option for the final strike.
On the other hand, how could the will expressed by Prime Minister Netanyahu to want to invade and control the entire strip of Gaza, and who will be a source of heated debate within Israeli democracy?
