Not only a vacuum cleaner or washing, but a five-in-one solution. That’s what he promises Roborock F25 ACE COMBOthe new device for liquids and solids launched by the Chinese company leader in domestic robotics. We tested it for a few weeks.
A product, 5 uses
The Roborock F25 ACE COMBO is easy to install and in the package there is really everything you need to keep the house clean. In addition to the wireless washing, there is in fact a powerful electric broom with multisuperfish brush also suitable for the rugs and various dedicated accessories: the extension tube, a spout to be used with or without a brush, and even a kiss. And everything is located in the practical self -cleaning station practice, thus guaranteeing that the components are always at hand. The heart of the device is an engine (with integrated battery) that hooks both to the washing and aspiration, offering maximum versatility. The package also includes a detergent bottle, an additional HEPA filter and a brush to clean the components. Finally, the base, in addition to recharging, deals with washing and drying the washing roller automatically.
The test
But let’s see it at work. Let’s start with washing. It takes 740 ml of water and a little detergent in the appropriate tank to be ready to face even the most stubborn, solid or liquid dirt. The engine guarantees an aspiration of 20,000 PA, while the roller absorbs the stains and simultaneously washes the floor with clean water; A pressure scraper capture hair and hair, while a filter in the tank separates the dry part from the liquid part. It affects the lightness of the device which, thanks to the clean water tank positioned at the bottom and the servvoassistite wheels with the Enhanced Slidetech 2.0, makes it easy to move the washing up and backwards (which in fact advances almost alone). There are four cleaning programs: eco, personalized, suction and automatic only. In the latter case, a dirt sensor allows you to always use the most suitable power. The detergent is instead dosed independently and in our tests we have never found residues on the floor. Remarkable the possibility of reclining the lavapavimenti at 180 ° which will thus be just 12.5 cm high and it easily passes under beds or low mobile. The result is also excellent on the edges: if frontally it remains a little unreal surface, passing it laterally the gap is reduced to just half a centimeter. In addition, it is so handy that not even to pass it around the furniture or in the most narrow corners is tiring. The result is a clean floor in a short time, even on the parquet, which is not excessively wet.
So far the excellent features from washing machines. What makes the F25 Ace Combo truly innovative is the presence of the vacuum cleaner, which for example solves the problem of the surfaces (such as rugs) that cannot be wet. Switching from one device to another is immediate: just release the engine from one and hook it to the other. In one click there will therefore be a real wireless vacuum cleaner – always from 20,000 PA – which has nothing to envy to the competition. At the base of the brush there is a green LED that allows you to “scan” the floor and do not miss even a grain of dust. The device is very light and easy to handle, the powerful aspiration has allowed us to remove all the dirt, reaching even crumbled crackers and a whole blueberry. To this are added the other accessories, always at hand, which allow complete cleaning in every corner. The battery lasts almost an hour, which is a congruous time for an apartment of a hundred square meters.
The application
Could such a complete product be missing? Of course not. If at first glance it may seem superfluous to connect a washing to the smartphone, the interesting functions are different. First of all, it is possible to set the favorite parameters, such as the suction power, that of the drive wheels, how wet the roller is, and so on. And then you can keep under control all the cleaning settings or the level of the water and the detergent, as well as check if it is necessary to wash or replace the various filters. But what perhaps is not expected are the controls at a distance: just spread the washing of the washing and use the “joystick” on the phone to reach the most narrow points, for example under the bed.
Maintenance
Roborock also thought of everything for maintenance. For the washing is all in the recharging base: just place it in its place because the quick cleaning starts: in about 5 minutes the hot water at 90 ° washes the roller that is simultaneously squeezed so as not to leave residues. Immediately after part also the drying choosing between the rapid (no longer noisy, but which can also be programmed) or normal. Occasionally it will be necessary to disassemble the tanks, empty them and wash them. An operation that seemed not particularly easy to us (especially for the dirty water tank), but it certainly helps the dut with it supplied.
What we liked (and what not)
The Roborock F25 ACE COMBO is truly an excellent product for those looking for a single multifunction device. The possibility of associating a real (and powerful) wireless vacuum cleaner with the washing is not a small plus, especially considering that among the accessories there is also a BattitAppeti. The docking is perhaps more cumbersome than other models, but allows you to have all the components in order and always available.
In addition to the power, we also appreciated the handling and the ease of going from one device to another. But the battery may not be enough for the big cleaning, while it is perfect for the newspaper. It is currently on sale for 749 euros on the Roborock online store.
