The end of the summer quarter is synonymous, every year, of important news on the technology market and in particular of the smartphone: September 2025 will not escape this unwritten “rule” with the launch of some brand new products very awaited by fans.
The iPhone 17 arrives
Announced for months, the release of the new Apple smartphone is approaching: the new Melafonino should have four variants foreseen with a new wording, the 17 Air instead of the “plus” while the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will remain unchanged. Changes also planned on the colors since for each type some ad hoc have been designed (including the orange). Important innovations not only on the operating system (iOS 26 will be launched) but also on the camera of the new iPhones that will mount the new 48 megapixel telephoto lens with increasingly clear images even in the presence of zoom. Finally, among the greatest news there may be the new 8K format and the possibility of recording videos in multi-cam.
Pixel 10
A few weeks and here Pixel 10 will also be released, the Google device: there is a lot of turmoil for the four planned models (Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and the highly anticipated Pixel 10 Pro Fold). Also in this case, it seems that the camera can reserve the biggest surprises because the rumors circulating speak of three rear objectives with a large leap in quality compared to previous models. Possibility to make excellent selfies also for considerable improvements on the front camera.
Samsung Galaxy S26
In this case, perhaps we are running a little too much but at the moment there is no precise date: the lovers of the sector look forward to the Samsung Galaxy S26 which, however, will probably be released in full autumn (between October and November). According to rumors, among the most important changes in this range it could be the removal of the Galaxy S26 Plus model. From here, the new range should include the Galaxy S26 Pro, the S26 Edne and the S26 Ultra. In the first case, the new smartphone will be intended for most users for “balanced” performance, the edge will also rely on aesthetics and ultra for those needing innovations at the hardware level.
Xiaomi 16 Ultra
A few months more than September will be needed to see the Xiaomi 16 Ultra debut which could still be available on the market by the end of the year. Among the most important innovations that circulate on the net, the strengthening of the battery capacity that could have a capacity between 7,000 and 7,500 mAh. Maximum attention also to photos with a sensor up to 200 megapixels.
Oppo Reno14
Launched in China in May, it is not yet known when the Oppo Reno14 series will not be available in Europe with its international models indicated in the Rhine14 and Rhine14 Pro. The novelty for the Asian market also concerns the Rhine14F with a huge 6.57 -inch display and a resolution of 2372×1080 pixels.
At the forefront also the resolution of the camera which is made up of 50 megapxel and is able to take photos and shoot videos with excellent quality. It is not known, at the moment, if the two basic models Reno14 and Reno14pro will have, or not, changes compared to Chinese models.
