Sweden's desperate move

Violence, crime, clashes between opposing factions. The Sweden has slowly turned into the emblem of the failure of forced multiculturalism, a crystalline testimony to the ideology behind the open-door model. Stockholm is the capital with the highest rate of lethal armed violence in Europe, with entire zones off-limits to the police. Migrants have become an undeniable problem and the government is willing to do anything to restore legality and security, even to pay refugees to return to their countries of origin.

As reported by The National News, Sweden wants to offer money to return to their country of origin even to refugees with Swedish citizenship: the “voluntary exit” program offers 10 thousand crowns, or 900 euros, plus the costs of supporting the trip. This is the move of desperation for the government, which has to deal with dramatic data: in 2023 more people left Sweden than arrived, the first net loss in over fifty years.

“A development towards sustainable immigration is necessary to strengthen integration and reduce social exclusion”, the Minister for Immigration highlighted Maria Melmar Stenergard: “The number of asylum applications appears to be historically low, asylum-related residence permits continue to decline and Sweden is experiencing net emigration for the first time in 50 years.” Needless to say, immigration and integration policies have been scrutinised after repeated gang violence throughout the country.

After years of wide open doors and do-goodism in spades, at the beginning of 2023 the Swedish government had put its hands on the reception policies: from the drastic drop in permits granted to refugees to the cessation of reunifications, through the strengthening of borders. A necessary and in any case late intervention, considering the numbers of the Nordic country: 8 percent of the population – 10 million inhabitants – is of Islamic religion. The projections have frightened everyone: by 2050 Muslims could reach 30 percent. A potentially explosive situation, considering the already difficult coexistence.

A dramatic situation, clearly demonstrated by the flight of Swedes and migrants integrated from the most dangerous ghettos. With all due respect to the progressivism and exaggerated inclusiveness, that have done and continue to do so much harm to the West. And first and foremost to common sense.
