Dear Director Feltri,
In your opinion, who is right between Beppe Grillo and Giuseppe Conte? The comedian wants to regain possession of the name and symbol of the movement he founded, of which Conte is now leader and head. Which side are you on?
Paolo Bove
Dear Paolo,
I can only be on the side of justice and law, therefore on the side of Beppe Grillo, an individual who is not nice, who I never liked, who is also worthwhile as a comedian, let alone as a political one, but to whom we must take note of having suffered a theft, that is, the hint of a party invented and built together with his former partner Gianroberto Casaleggio. Moreover, I point out that the Five Star Movement has had a resounding success, thanks to which it still remains to the surface in some way, only thanks to the credibility, charisma and socket that Grillo had (and still retains) on the public as well as on a large basin of voters. Conte did not give any contribution, on the contrary, as soon as he appeared on the political scene, the movement of the jester went from over ten million votes to a handful. Yet, despite the numerous flops, this man, Giuseppe Conte, managed to subtract the name and symbol of the party and to make it its own. It was a real expropriation for personal utility or even an abusive occupation, apparently legitimized through the vote on the platform, attended by few members not excluded from the vote. The M5S survives as a result of Grillo’s legacy and not for the qualities of the one who has self -defined “lawyer of the people”, who, in my opinion, was the worst prime minister of history. Grillo is fault in all this. The grillini preached to be tired of premier blossomed out of nowhere, imposed from above, never passed through the polls, never presented in the presence of the people. And, contradicting this, as soon as they came to the government, they wanted a President of the Council unknown to the Italians, a Signor nobody, never voted, never elected anywhere, not even in a city council, presenting him to the Italians as a virtuous man. Conte himself said he would have accepted the assignment for “spirit of service”, returning to his commitments as a lawyer and professor once the mandate is over. Macché! He remained, indisposed absolutely to give up. And he did more, he took the party that launched him, ousting anyone else, even his legitimate founders. I wonder how those few voters who still enjoys the movement to attest to his trust in a similar subject, who affirms one thing and makes another and demonstrates ingratitude towards those who have given him confidence, Beppe Grillo, betrayed and stripped of his own good, of his creature, thought, generated, put in the world, bred.
And I am happy to learn that, after six months from the snatch of name and symbol, Grillo returned to the office and decided to bring the lawyer of the people to court, who says he is confident and serene, but who, in my opinion, is not so quiet.
Name e
Below of the party are by Beppe Grillo. Giuseppe Conte will make himself his own, he is able, instead of taking those of others, those of those who put him where he is and where he would never have arrived without cricket himself.
