Open-ex Ecogenius is born, the new Suite of digital tools designed to simplify the path of companies on the objectives of competitiveness and sustainability. It is a new flexible and accessible digital space that arises from the collaboration between Open-ES and Accenture and is designed for the over 37,000 companies that adhere to Open-ES and for all small and medium-sized enterprises that make up the backbone of the production chains. Companies will find simple and intuitive tools to respond to conscious measurement and development challenges, achieving business objectives efficiently and effectively. Accenture has contributed to the design, development and implementation of the suite, which brings together in a single digital space based on artificial intelligence to provide all companies, with a pragmatic and concrete approach, solutions for a more competitive market strategy, integrating results in the economic and impact.
Designed to be user-friendly, Open-for Ecogenius makes data and guidelines also accessible to organizations that are less familiar with the issues related to sustainability. This allows companies to respond, together with their financial and industrial partners along the supply chains, to key challenges for our production system.
In its launch version, available directly on the free Open-ES platform, it allows access to the Carbon Estimator, a tool validated by Rina as compliant with the Standard Ghg Protocol Protocol, which is easy to guide companies in the data collection and in the estimate of emissions, taking into account the specificities of the different industrial sectors. In addition to this first tool, the digital space will gradually be enriched with new modules and solutions for the identification, improvement and exchange of data relating to the various development needs of companies. “In Accenture, we commit ourselves to developing practical and accessible tools that support the sustainable transformation of companies and their supply chains. We are therefore proud to collaborate with Open-ES, making available our skills in sustainability, decarbonisation and digitization” said Fausto Torri, head of the Energy area, utility, chemistry and natural resources of Accenture for Italy, Central Europe and Greece.
“This novelty is a representative result of the spirit that characterizes all the partners of the Open-ES alliance.
Listening to companies, collaboration oriented to innovation and pragmatic approach to support all realities along the chains of value in the challenge to improve their competitiveness in a market context in transition “commented Stefano Fasani, Open-ES program manager.
