Answer: “Interesting question. Here’s what I found on the web.” End of the experiment (in reality I made others, with results worse than the other). But cabbage, Apple had promised that Siri would have a more natural, more human voice, also because with all the Ai there are now, instead you have the impression that he has repainted an old intercom: he is now shiny but remains a intercom. It costs me to say it being an Apple Addicted, but with Siri they were stopped while everything went on.
In short, in 2025 we are full of intelligent assistants: chatgpt, Gemini, Copilot, who understand the context, write emails, summarize meetings, keep the thread of a speech. Siri no. When he succeeds, he leans on Chatgpt (there is an agreement with Openai, Apple Intelligence remained an idea), only every now and then, for heaven’s sake, only when Apple trusts enough to get them out of the privacy enclosure (why should I move on to chatgpt through Siri? I first open it directly).
Result: an assistant who blocks on everything that requires even a minimum of processing, that is, everything as before (there is also a new department for graphics stopped at the creation of new emojis and new avatars, even the very given ones).
It is not clear who has distracted the Apple for so long: the iPhone has space chips, astronomical photos, fluid animations and Siri instead is still there, asking you “can you repeat?” As in 2014. Apple updates everything, except the part that should talk to you and listen to you.
Even Siri’s voice is always that, with its breaks, its wrong times, the one that in 2011 seemed the future and today sounds like a navigator forgotten in the car.
