The moral of the slingshots
After the upheavals of recent years, many of us have been perceived on tribal positions. I find it incredible that, when the events are evolved, opinions remain immutable.
One of the most subtle logical errors of these days is the Post hoc, ergo propter hoc: after x, then because of x.
A trivial example: Sergej and I was snacks, but since he intentionally stuck a finger in my eye, our friendship has stopped. For intellectual honesty, I should ask me why Sergej committed such a gesture, but this delicate passage was removed in contemporary morality.
Looking for the causes has become synonymous with condescending, therefore it is unacceptable. The only real reason for Sergej’s intemperance is that, twenty years ago, I was so naive as to make him my friend.
Sergej was my cheap gas supplier. Now that he has disappointed me, I have returned from my only, true, great friend: Sam. Curiously, Sam is also a supplier of energy. Its gas sucks, the procedure for extracting it is anti-ecological, it gives me liquid instead of aeriform, and costs much more. But I love Sam so much, so well, and then he also sells the slingshots to defend myself from that madman of Sergej.
The new generation slings will have a “Kill Switch” (here) that my friend Sam will activate remotely, in the event that I rotate the inadvertently one hundred and eighty degrees, pointing them against the wrong enemy.
In short, today I live quiet: I am without gas, I have slings that I cannot use, but I found the true meaning of the word “Libertah”.
