Last Sunday, during On airprogram de La7 With Pro-Pal inclinations, the following sign has been shown several times: died in Gaza from 7 October 2023: 61,430 deaths (note the use of uppercases and the repetition of the word “dead”). After all, with very small characters, almost illegible by a TV screen, the source was specified: Ministry of Health of Palestine (10 August 2025).
In this regard, in order to clarify what we are talking about, in a news published on May 17th by Printingprogressive area newspaper, it was read that “the Ministry of Health of Gaza, led by Hamas, says that 153 dead and 459 injured arrived, in the hospitals of the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours following the Israeli attacks”.
Well, first of all, is it correct to speak of Palestine’s Ministry of Health, knowing well that in Gaza the Palestinian authority currently counts as the classic two cups? Furthermore, since the data is disclosed by a military para that uses terrorist vehicles and that, like many in Italy, forget to underline, in its 1988 constitutive charter sets the destruction of Israel as its level, what level of reliability can we attribute to these numbers?

In essence, contrary to what is reported, in my opinion correctly, at the time by Printingthe program conducted by Marianna Aprile and Luca Telese, generating confusion between Hamas and Palestinian authorities, tends to pass the concept that the former, who brutally eliminated Fatah’s opponents after taking power in 2006, would represent the entire Palestinian people.
On the other hand, continuing to stun public opinion with the count of the dead from a single part (something similar to what happened in Italy during the pandemic), the origin of this umpteenth war tragedy is lost sight. Origin that does not reside in the legitimate will of a people to found an independent state, but in a unfortunate terrorist action which, in addition to having killed over 1,400 innocent people, deeply undermined the goal of a Palestinian state.
