The last to see him alive: Chico Forti, former windsurfing champion and TV producer. Sentenced to life imprisonment in 2000, since then Forti has repeated only one phrase: “I am innocent.” Yet, after 27 years, too many shadows remain: no witnesses, no weapons, no clear motive.
