Don’t believe the man put his foot on the Moon it’s stuff that, on the threshold of 2026, certainly gives shivers but even today there are many conspirators and deniers of a historical moment, that of 1969, which was followed by others that were widely documented. Among the skeptics there is also Kim Kardashian who during the last episode of the television series The Kardashian states with absolute certainty to co-star Sarah Paulson that, in her opinion, the moon landing “it never happened“.
NASA’s response
NASA itself responded to the star with 354 million followers with irony and intelligence, having “bothered” itself by responding to something it has been used to for decades. The American space agency on its X account writes that “Yes, we have already been to the Moon… 6 times!“, as interim administrator, Sean Duffy, points out. “We won the last space race and we will win this one too“, said Duffy who then invited Kardashian to the Kennedy Space Center for the launch of the new Artemis mission.
Kardashian’s thesis
In the episode in question, Kardashian shows Paulson an interview with astronaut Buzz Aldrin who, along with Neil Armstrong, took his first steps on the lunar surface during the Apollo 11 mission.”I’m sending you a million articles with both Buzz Aldrin and each other” says Kardashian, before reading a quote attributed to Aldrin in response to a question about the scariest moment of the expedition.”There was no scary moment because it didn’t happen. It could have been scary, but it wasn’t because it didn’t happen“, law.
As always happens in these cases, not only is the article in question and the source that spoke about it unknown, but it is almost obvious to point out that these quotes were from Aldrin. Immediately afterwards the reality star declared to a producer that the moon landing was considered a fake. “I saw some videos of Buzz Aldrin talking about how nothing had happened. He always says it in interviews. Maybe we should find Buzz Aldrin“.
It is after these declarations that NASA responded in kind with the post on X.
Finally, to avoid any misunderstanding or doubt, the 95-year-old Buzz Aldrin has written numerous memoirs explaining what happened during the mission to the Moon and the teamwork, memoirs that automatically deny what Kardashian claimed and the alleged videos of the astronaut in which, in practice, he would deny what he wrote in black and white.
