Recently Whatsapp has launched a very interesting function, namely one that allows you to pin chats up. Thanks to it, users' enjoyment of the messaging app improves considerably, as it allows them to more quickly find chats with the contacts they message most often.
But in practice how does it work? A chat pinned to the top, quite simply, always remains at the top of the list on the WhatsApp home page, without therefore following the natural chronological order of interaction with contacts. As all users will surely have noticed, normally the chat at the top of the menu is the one with the person with whom the last message was exchanged. Well, with this function the system changes: the fixed chats, in fact, will always be the first to appear, alternating with the same criterion as the normal ones, i.e. in chronological order.

To pin WhatsApp chats on iPhone you need to open the application and choose the one you are interested in. Once this is done, simply swipe over it from left to right and press “Fixed” (the pin). This way the conversation will always appear first. Alternatively, if you change your mind, just repeat the same step and choose “Don't stare” (the crossed out pin). Every user can fix a maximum of three chats at a time. If a user tries to fix a fourth one, a message will appear in the overlay reminding them that this is not possible.

In this case, instead of scrolling on the chat of interest from left to right, simply hold it down and press on the pin at the top.
