It's about the version 2.24.12.14.

How the app changes

The update, as we said, provides a new interface for the calls screen and a modified bar at the bottom of the screen. Apparently the WhatsApp team decided to dedicate itself to the lower area of the screen after having already thought about the changes to be made to the upper one. In particular, we tried to make the keys present in the lower part of the interface.

It is up to the bar lower call, in fact, to control the functions made available during the phone call. We will have the option to switch to the video call, close the conversation, turn on the speaker or deactivate the call. Not only. The developers have also included a specific button to connect to the other options present.

Continuing with the analysis, we find that in the upper part of the screen on the left we have the possibility of reducing the call window to a minimum, while on the right there is the button that allows you to invite other friends into the conversation, so as to have a phone call of group. Besides that, the call bar has aprofile picture larger and a simplified layout.

In essence, with this new update, WhatsApp tries to offer users a more modern platform and practical to use during calls.

Development

The beta version will be gradually distributed among Android usersto then be expanded to other beta testers.

By subscribing to the beta testing channel, you can download the new features released gradually by the developer team. It will take some time before we see changes in the WhatsApp version commonly used by users.
