The WhatsApp development team is working to integrate a new feature capable of making sharing multimedia files on social networks easier and quicker.
Still, in order to publish messages, videos or photographs saved in the famous Meta instant messaging app on other applications, such as X, Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat, it is necessary to carry out a series of intermediate steps which make it more cumbersome and the whole process immediate. In fact, the user must carry out the download of the content on your electronic device and then manually upload it to the application through which you intend to share it. This is why the developers have created a simple and effective system that acts as a shortcut if you find yourself in such a situation: it will be possible to transmit your file with a simple click and without the need to leave the WhatsApp chat as currently happens.
According to what was revealed by WaBetaInfo experts, in fact, users will soon have one available new barwhich will appear at the bottom of the screen, on which shortcuts have been placed to share any type of content via the most popular apps such as Facebook, Instagram, X or Snapchat. If the user wishes to carry out this sharing on non-preset applications, however, it will be sufficient to click on the “More” button and choose from all the options available. The lower bar will appear as soon as the sharing function is activated.
Thanks to this new feature, therefore, it will no longer be necessary to download the contents you want to share on social networks or upload them manually or abandon a conversation ongoing, as everything will be managed directly from within WhatsApp.
For the moment, the new sharing tool created by the Meta developers is available to beta testers who have already downloaded version 2.24.25.20 of the Android app, and it is not known whether users with iOS devices will also be able to try it or when it will be available to everyone.
It is certainly a particularly intense moment with regards to the news arriving on WhatsApp: ranging from the possibility of sharing channel contents
via a single link created automatically by the app to the function that will allow you to convert voice messages into text. For some of these the tests are at an advanced stage, so we won’t have to wait too long.
