Huawei has officially presented the FreeClip 2 S. Refined “open-ear” Bluetooth earphones with open architecture that allow you to listen to your favorite music or answer calls, without blocking voices and sounds from the surrounding environment. Design that can prove useful in numerous situations, for example, when we train outdoors or are on the street.
Design
Since launching its first clip-on earphones in 2023, which ushered in an unprecedented category of “jewel earphones,” Huawei has continued to explore new shapes and styles in the open-ear device segment. Inspired by a fusion between metallic shine and natural tones, the design of the FreeClip 2 S is expressed in two trendy colors: blue, which recalls the deep reflections of blue ocean pearls, and silver, which captures the natural play of light of silver mother-of-pearl.
The charging case has undergone over 100 manufacturing processes to achieve its rounded, symmetrical and reflective silhouette. The usable internal space has been expanded by 20%, allowing you to store not only earphones, but also small earrings.

Weighing just 5.1g per earbud, the FreeClip 2 S maintains the lightness of the previous model, while introducing the bright Airy C-bridge headband. Made of liquid silicone, which is 25% softer than that of Huawei FreeClip, the headband is finished through 22 paint mixing and spraying processes to achieve a mirror-like, ultra-glossy metallic finish.
Advanced acoustics

These earphones integrate a third-generation audio chip developed by Huawei and an AI processor, supporting functions such as intelligent volume and voice adjustment. Thanks to a bidirectional detection system that identifies ambient noise and normalizes the intensity of the audio source, the earphones intuitively adapt the sound to the user’s preferred listening level.

The earphones are also equipped with a double diaphragm driver which promises to faithfully reproduce both the most delicate nuances of voices and the deep impact of bass.
